Description
This wordless illustrated epic spans generations of humans and nature as a peaceful grassland is transformed slowly into a staggering metropolis.
Human structures rise and fall, factions form and conflict ensues... all the while nature remains, waiting patiently to restore order. As once-bountiful trees become more and more scarce, the citizens stake their claim upon them, and learn too late that their attempts to take ownership of nature will be their undoing.
